Jade! She recently started at Smiley Dental Fairhaven in February of 2023. She graduated from Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School in 2018 from the Dental Assisting Program. She is a Dental Receptionist with the intent to become an assistant in the near future. Jade is also continuing her General Life and Health Sciences education in September of 2023. She enjoys taking drives by the beach, and spending time with family. Jade joined our team to make patients feel at ease with treatment needed, educate patients on their insurance plans, and to make people smile with her communication skills both over the phone and in person.
Mark! He started at Smiley Dental Fairhaven in January of 2023. He recieved his Dental Assisting Certificate from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in September of 2022. He graduated from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in May of 2023 with a Bachelors in Biology. He is continuing his studies and pursuing his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) in the fall of 2024. Mark enjoys going out to discover new cuisines and traveling to learn more about different countries and cultures. Mark joined our team to have the opportunity to directly impact people’s lives and alleviate their pain. Helping patients gives him immense sense of purpose and fulfillment.
Courtney! She started at Smiley Dental Fairhaven in May of 2023. She graduated from Dimon Regional Vocational Technical High School in 2019 from the Dental Assisting Program. What Courtney loves about being a Dental Assistant is being able to be there for the patient and helping them feel comfortable in the dental chair and for next time, look forward to coming in instead of being scared/anxious. She enjoys communicating with patients to figure out what she can do to make them at ease. Outside of work, she spends her free time listening to music, hanging out with family and friends, and exploring.
Jesslyn! She started at Smiley Dental Fairhaven in highschool as a Coop job in 2020 and Graduated from Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School in 2021 from the Dental Assisting Program. She has been a huge asset to the team as the years go on, starting off as a Dental Assistant and working her way up to Lead Dental Assistant and completely runs the back office alone. Jesslyn always loved the idea of helping people, but was never interested in the medical field. On her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym, and focusing on her health as well as being a part time nail technician on the weekends. Jesslyn enjoys the one on one interaction with patients and to help them better understand the importance of proper oral hygiene.
Lindsey! She joined Smiley Dental Fairhaven in 2018 and left to pursue outside opportunity in 2020. She was rehired in 2022. She graduated from Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School in 2016 from the Dental Assisting Program. She is an all around asset to this location with her multiple roles she plays as she is a Dental Assistant with 7 years of experience and recently promoted to Fairhaven’s Office Manager as of December 2022. On her spare time, she enjoys spending Sundays together with her family and being a mom to a beautiful little girl. Lindsey joined our team to provide excellent care to patients, become a leader for staff members, sets expectations for the office to grow, and educate patients on different procedure steps and different treatment options.
